Not "we don't sell your data." There is no mechanism by which the app could send anything anywhere, because it holds no network permission at all.
Umber requests exactly three Android permissions, none of which touch the network:
It does not request internet access. That is not a setting; it is absent from the app, which is why Umber works in airplane mode indefinitely and cannot show an advertisement, load a tracker, or check a licence server.
Your saved mixes, your current dot position and your sleep timer preference are stored in the app's private storage on your phone. Each saved mix is a name and two numbers. Nothing leaves the device, and uninstalling the app removes all of it.
There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporting service embedded in Umber. We do not know how many mixes you have, which noise colour you prefer, or when you sleep.
This site has no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts or fonts — the typefaces are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, so loading the page tells no one else that you visited.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server request logs (including IP address) for operational purposes as any web host does. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you.
The audio demo on the home page runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is recorded and nothing is uploaded.
Umber is a noise machine, frequently used in nurseries. It gathers no data from anyone, of any age.
If this policy ever changes, the date below changes with it. Should Umber ever need a network permission for any reason, that would be stated plainly here and in the app's store listing before it shipped.
